This Department has two broad roles.
The first of these is the personal
function. In this role the Department is responsible for staff
memebrs - conditions of employment, recruitment, performance appraisal,
development and training, benefits and records.
It also oversees the Bank's Management
and Corporate Plans, maintains the Library and is responsible for
actually paying the staff. In addition, the Department handles the
building and other services.
It manages the building and the Bank's
relationship with its tenants, is the purchasing centre for the Bank and
is responsible for security. It also manages the Bank's transport needs
and its communications network. |
