Banking & Corporate Services Department
This Department is in many ways the public face of the Bank. It handles most of the functions that require personal contact and other people.

Include in these are:
  • The issue of currency notes and coin to the commerical banks and their return. Part of this job invloves  forecasting the future needs for new notes and coins and ordering supplies to ensure that demand can be met.
  • The provision of assistance to collectors of notes and coin, a job often known as the provision of numismatic services.
  • The settlement of transactions, both domestic and international, between the Bank and the commerical banks and handling the banking busienss of the Bank's other customers.
  • The maintenance of a register of issues and holders of Central Bank securities.
  • The remaining exchange  control issues that require reference to the Central Bank.
  • The printing and distribution of reports and other material that the Bank publishes.
  • Other aspects of the public and community relations.

In addition, the Department looks after all the Bank's information technology needs. It manages the computer systems, databases and training in these areas, as well as maintaining the Bank's website.
